Welcome to Meet the Teacher!

I am looking forward to a positive year with your son\daughter. I thank you for getting the student information, low risk forms in, in a timely matter. I am still waiting on a few needle permission forms as well as Student fees, please send those along ASAP… it is a not so positive part of the beginning of a new school year and I like to get it out of the way as soon as I can.

Online: I like keeping in touch with parents and students on a regular basis, I will be using the mass email from Students Achieve as most of the teachers did last year. I will be sending test announcements, special activity information and more. I will not however overdue it… only sending what I think you’d like to keep informed about.

I will be using this edublog to post review sheets for tests and will try and keep you up to date on what is going on in class. I have been using this blog for the past 3 years and find that I’m using it more and more each year, as I discover new things. I encourage you to check it from time to time so that you are aware of up-coming activities.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns, the easiest way is by email (I check it a couple of times a day and will get in touch with you ASAP), please also indicate if you’d like me to contact you by phone… I haven’t forgotten how to use it…it’s just difficult sometimes to find a phone that is available in the school and therefore easier to use email.

With cold and flu season fast approaching, I’m wondering if it’s possible for you to send in a Kleenex box in to school with your son\daughter it would be greatly appreciated in helping curb the spread of germs.

Thank you and looking forward to getting to know you and your son\daughter throughout the year!
